The Citizens' Accord Forum between Jews and Arabs in Israel

In 2013 and 2014 CAF undertook a major strategic planning process to sharpen its mission, and revise its fields of activities to respond more effectively to changing inter-community tensions. The outcome was a holistic program of activities with the aim of furthering the goal of building shared society in a sustainable democracy within Israel.

 

Today, CAF’s three main activity areas are: Civic Engagement, Policy and Legislation, and Education and Leadership Development. These three activity areas collectively engage all members of society including youth, women and men, decision makers, educators, religious leaders, and academics from every geographic region of Israel.

 

The strategic planning process was completed under the guidance of our partner, the Kettering Foundation, a leading US based research institution in the field of participatory democracy.
